As the day began, we to Portsmouth went by bus. The first visit was a huge ship museum, full of cool things to see and discover. The National Museum of the Royal Navy had everything from a real ship to many objects from the ship, and so much more.
Our visit started with a video in a room of a man dressed as a king. He told us the backstory of the ship, making us feel how it was back then. There was also a film projected onto the walls, which made it seem like we were actually there with the king. It was a nice experience. After the video, we were free to explore the museum on our own. We even saw a really huge ship that was almost destroyed.
One of the coolest things we saw was a 4D cinema about the discovery of the sunken ship. They even dropped bubbles from the celing, perfectly matching the movie. It felt so real with the 3D glasses.
After exploring the museum, we visited another ship that wasn’t broken.
This part was very interesting because we got an audio guide that we could control manually. We learned about how people lived on ships back then. It was surprising to see how low the celings were. In some parts of the ship, we had to crouch to avoid hitting our heads. Later, we had a boat trip that took to another part of the city. The visit was fun.
After that, we had some free time to do whatever we wanted in a mall. For example, we could go to a Nike store.
