In the morning, we from Eastbourne to Canterbury by bus. The journey took two hours and 30 minutes. We walked from the bus parking lot to the city center and had one hour and 30 minutes of free time. After that, we had a guided tour of the city with lots of information about Canterbury. Then, we looked at the cathedral from the outside and saw a private school, The King’s School, nearby.

Then we had some more free time during which we went to different shops and later had something to eat. At around 6 p.m., we went into the cathedral to attend service. After the service, we had the opportunity to buy some food and drinks. Then we started our journey back home. From Canterbury, it took us another 45 minutes to get to Dover.

From Dover, we traveled through the Eurotunnel, which was much faster than the ferry ride we took on the way there. In the evening, we were very tired, and the next morning, our bus driver switched in Karlsruhe. From there, it was only about three more hours until we got home. We arrived in Sankt Johann earlier than expected, at half past eleven.
